The Great Knaresborough Bunny Hunt

Having grown up in the Knaresborough area, freelance artist Helen has a love of the area to combine with a fascination for the natural world around her, and a compulsive desire to be constantly creating and learning. Helen has loved researching and producing the Knaresborough Bunny Hunt maps for the last seven years and exploring the route with her two girls now aged nine and ten. Helen has found a niche in producing the se illustrated character maps and enjoys the challenges they bring immensely. Helen loves details, realism and colour in her work. She also works on a range of other artworks including pets, people, animals and building portraits in watercolour, pastel, pencil and/or acrylic, and is currently working on repainting and.or redesigning some of the Trompe L'oeil artworks that have been resident in many of the window spaces in Knaresborough, including the much missed "zoo windows" organised by the brilliant team at Renaissance Knaresborough.Helen loves to make people smile with her artwork, and to paint details that want to make you look closer. And to be a part of something as big and exciting as the Bunny Hunt which brings our community and businesses together is brilliant! We need to support and encourage all our local charities and businesses, and it's great to bring our families together for a big day out with the kids at the same time!
